Nothing compares to taste of blistered Shishito peppers. They usually they have little heat to them but, you might find one with a little bite now and then. I first tasted them while living in Korea, and instantly fell in love with these little gems. No doubt you will too! To date, the only way I’ve prepared them is by using freshly chopped in salads or seared in a hot skillet with a little sesame oil, as below. My version is easy and quick, a shortened version of how I learned in Korea. I will share the authentic Korean version at a later date!

Finding peace
Since our self-talk is a direct link to our brain, and since what our brain thinks is recorded, what thoughts will you imprint today? Think of your life as a self-fulfilling prophecy. Become aware of mindfulness practice(s) as often as possible. What you think and what you say to yourself will determine what happens to you. So listen carefully to the words and phrases you say today, and take note each time those words leave your lips.
Caring for your skin
Cleaning up our skin from the inside out takes a little extra effort. The reward: better skin tone, texture, and quality. Breathing is essential to life. Yet we often forget to breathe or we don’t breathe deeply and fully. This can be due to unresolved emotional pain, or daily life experiences, that cause us to self protect. While we can still remain functional with shortened breathing, it is not an optimal way to live.
